Teresa graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Anatomy and Physiology and in 1998 with a Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan. In 2002, she completed her doctoral degree with A.T. Still University.
She is passionate about life-long learning. She enjoys helping her patients return to their best life. She has extensive knowledge base for providing outpatient physical therapy for a wide range of diagnoses. She has a special interest in patient centered care for individuals recovering from a cancer diagnosis.
She holds an Advanced Certification in the Leduc Method of Lymphedema management (2004, 2005, and 2007). In 2011, she became a Cancer Exercise Specialist from RMCRI at the University of Northern Colorado. Teresa is a member of the National Lymphedema Network, American Physical Therapy Association- Oncology section, and Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association.
She enjoys spending time with her family, riding her horse, being outdoors, camping, running, crafting and reading. Her treatment philosophy: “I view my clients as valuable and unique individuals. My goal for their physical therapy experience is to be collaborative, focusing on their goals and working to achieve their best life. The level of care I provide is what I would expect for my own family.”
