Karen Scharpf, PT

Karen earned her degree in Physical Therapy from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. She treats general orthopedic injuries and provides post-operative care. She has extensive specialized education and experience in the treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunction of the pelvis, such as incontinence and pelvic pain.

She also specializes in issues specific to women, such as pain during pregnancy and after childbirth. Additional training in manual techniques to mobilize the internal organs (Visceral Mobilization, through the Barral Institute) augments this treatment. She is also skilled in the treatment of TMJ (jaw) dysfunction. She believes that everybody benefits from movement and enjoys collaborating with her patients to provide a customized level of care that will help them meet their individual needs and goals.

Karen is a native of Southeastern Wisconsin, but has been part of the Central Wisconsin communities for more than two decades. Outside of work, she is active in her church and supports the activities of her growing children as a parent volunteer.
