Jeremy W. Russell, D.O.

Orthopaedic Surgeon

“As an orthopaedic surgeon, I don’t save lives; rather, I restore quality of life. I cannot imagine anything more rewarding than what I do for a living. I look forward to helping you live a more active and comfortable life!”

Dr. Russell completed medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center and residency at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He is board certified by the American College of Osteopathic Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

“I went into orthopaedics to help people regain their quality of life and function. Our amazing, but delicate, bodies are our mode of activity. In order to function well in life, enjoy activities of daily living, and participate in athletics, our musculoskeletal system has to work properly and without debilitating pain. As an orthopaedic surgeon, I get to solve musculoskeletal problems for my patients daily and see results quickly. I enjoy getting to know my patients and improving their quality of life.”

Dr. Russell is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedics, the American Osteopathic Association, and the Orthopaedic Trauma Association.

Dr. Russell began his career with Orthopaedic Associates of Wausau in 2011. He enjoys boating, water skiing, snow skiing, playing hockey and spending time with his family.
